Kingsmill Cup Points Allocation

Allocation of Kingsmill Cup Points for 2009 Golf Season

Participation points: Any member who participates in any of the one day KMGA tournaments (except Shootout Finals) shall receive one point for participation. For two day tournaments each member shall receive two points for participation. Any points awarded for placing in a tournament includes the participation point(s). For any Member Guest Tournament, only the member will receive participation points.

Club Championship:

First place overall of each division:        16 points

Second place overall of each division: 14 points

For the flights in each division:

First place                    10   points

Second place                8   points

Third place                   6   points

For tournaments that “pay” more than 3 places in a flight, fourth place shall be one point less than third, fifth place one point less than fourth, etc. except a minimum of two points shall be awarded for any “paid” place below third.

For any ties, USGA guidelines or tie breaking procedures established by the Committee shall be used for the tiebreaker to determine first, second, and third place Kingsmill Cup points. Only one set of points shall be awarded for each place.
